Civic Day 2017
Saturday June 17th 2017 is Civic Day, a day to show that we care about where we live and promote greater cohesion and partnership in the community.
The Isle of Wight Society, affiliated to the national Civic Voice, is organising a Celebration of Conservation Areas on the Island as part of the Civic Day National Event.
Over many years, the IW Planning Department has invested time and effort in defining and describing the special character of the 36 Island Conservation Areas.
To support this national event, we ask you promote Civic Day in your community by raising the awareness of the value and relevance of Conservation Areas.
May we suggest guided walks, or talks, or exhibitions take place in every Conservation Area on the Island on Saturday 17th June 2017.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Chairman, Councillors and Clerk
FISHBOURNE JUBILEE FUND
Following the appeal for funds the organisers would like to thank the local businesses, residents and party-goers for their generosity which has resulted in the cost of the new seat being met in full and also provided for two £500 donations to charity.
The Fund is to remain open and will be used in the future for similar events.
